Rental “inventory target” column means always maintaining ready stock quantities specifically for rental. If any listed item is taken from rental inventory, the system must update instantly in the order record so that when customers want to rent, PIC able immediately know which units are available and which standby units remain in stock. If the “current inventory does not match the target, must replenish.
