How to Create Outlines for Text, Offset Path in Adobe Illustrator?
1. Create Outlines (Vectorize Text)

3. Appearance Panel (Non-Destructive Method)
Select the object and open the Appearance Panel, then click Add New Stroke.

Place your image, click Image Trace, then select Expand from the top menu.
