FAQ - What is the Minimum DPI for Printing? Meaning of DPI?
DPI stands for Dots Per Inch. For high-quality printing, the standard minimum DPI is 300, which ensures sharp, detailed results for documents, brochures, and photos viewed up close. For larger prints (posters, banners) viewed from a distance, 150–200 DPI is often sufficient. Rarely, for very large items like billboards, DPI can be as low as 12.
DPI Number of ink droplets a printer will produce per inch while printing an image. The more dots of ink per inch the picture has, the more detail you will see when printed.

STANDARD - Higher DPI means higher resolution. Resolution is not “size”, but it's often confused with it because higher resolution images are often bigger, but that doesn't necessarily have to be the case. Print: 300dpi is standard, sometimes 150 is acceptable but never lower, you may go higher for some situations.
